Nelda Luce Blair

A proud 5th-generation Texan, Nelda Luce Blair is founder of The Blair Law Firm and a graduate of the University of Houston Law Center and Baylor University. Governor Rick Perry appointed Ms. Blair to a 6-year term on the University of Houston System Board of Regents in 2008, where she was elected to various officer roles, including two years as “Chair Blair”.

She has served in leadership for the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce, The Woodlands Township, and as Founding Chairman of The Woodlands Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Ms. Blair currently serves as President of the Conroe ISD Education Foundation, also as a gubernatorial appointee to the “Texas One” Board for statewide economic development, and as an officer in the University of Houston Political Action Committee.

Among many awards and honors, Nelda Luce Blair was named the “2013 Breakthrough Woman in Education” at the Greater Houston Conference for Women, and one of “Houston’s 50 Most Influential Women of 2009” by Houston Woman magazine.
