Senior VP/VC of Admin & Finance Appointed

UHS Faculty and Staff –

After careful consideration and with the strong and unanimous urging of the search committee, I have appointed Jim McShan as the Senior Vice Chancellor and Senior Vice President of Administration and Finance for a period of three years. The appointment is contingent upon the approval of the UH System Board of Regents at its May 19 meeting.

He has been serving in this capacity on an interim basis for the past year and has held multiple positions in Administration and Finance at UH during his 25 years of service. We’re confident he will continue to provide sound financial supervision and experienced leadership for UH and the UH System.
