UH-Clear Lake Clery Act
The University of Houston-Clear Lake Clery Compliance Program is managed by the University
of Houston-Clear Lake Police Department | 281-283-2222. UHCLPD is a full-service police
department operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week to best serve the UHCL community.
We are fully accredited by the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement
Administrators (IACLEA). This means that UHCLPD’s policies, training, and operations
are guided by best campus law enforcement practices from around the globe. The Jeanne
Clery Campus Security Policy & Crime Statistics Disclosure Act requires colleges and
universities receiving federal funding to prepare, publish and distribute campus safety
and security policies and crime statistics by October 1 of each year. The University
of Houston-Clear Lake does this in the form of an Annual Security and Fire Safety
Report. University community members are notified annually of when this report is
made available, including how and where to access it. Click to view the Daily Crime Log.
