Christian A. Pepe
Student Regent
Chris Pepe is the Student Regent for the University of Houston System and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Political Science in the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Houston.
A dedicated student leader, Pepe serves as Chairman of the Young Conservatives of Texas at the University of Houston and sits on the Sponsorship Committee for Turning Point USA at the University of Houston. Through these roles, he has been actively involved in student advocacy, campus leadership, and civic engagement initiatives.
A proud Houstonian of Italian heritage, Pepe is actively involved in Houston’s Italian-American community and is committed to preserving and promoting the cultural traditions that have shaped his background. In addition to his academic and leadership pursuits, he is an entrepreneur and business owner in the State of Texas, bringing firsthand experience in business development, leadership, and community engagement.
As Student Regent, Pepe is committed to representing the interests of students across the University of Houston System while advancing academic excellence, institutional growth, and opportunities that promote student success.
